Existential Threats

The pandemic is serving up conflicting existential threats to businesses in the city and residents of the city. The nexus? City hall. They are caught between measures that would protect people's lives but at potentially great cost to businesses, many of which would not survive restrictions or temporary shutdowns. You would think this would be an easy call and you'd be right. You might be surprised how many at city hall have chosen their friends in the business community over the folks they claim to serve.
